About Hours School Year: Mon-Thurs: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Summer Hours: Mon-Fri: 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Story We offer FREE classes in High School Completion, English Language Acquisition, Citizenship, & ABE. We also offer Enrichment classes for a small fee. Mission The purpose of Naugatuck Adult and Continuing Education is to provide an environment which prepares students to become lifelong learners and productive adults. Toward this end, we strive to maintain a warm, caring climate in which all students feel secure in their pursuit of excellence. Our express purpose is to prepare all students to become literate, problem solving, responsible citizens, capable of making informed decisions, facing the challenges and demands of the twenty-first century, and achieving self-sufficiency.
