Story Farragut State Park is a beautiful 4000 acre outdoor recreation area on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho.70 years ago the United States Navy had a large training facility on this land. Now, camping, hiking, mountain biking, equestrian use, model airplane flying, disc golf, swimming and boating are just a few of your options as you visit the park. Be sure and stop into the Museum at the Brig to learn more about the history of the park. Mission Farragut State Park's mission is to provide park visitors with an environment which fosters outdoor recreational, historical, educational and cultural experiences and to protect park resources.
