About ROOFING, SIDING & WINDOWS Story Opening business in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene area in 1979 as Specialty Storm Windows, our primary direction was window weatherization. Striving to offer our customers more products and services, it wasn't long until we moved into other home improvement areas; such as Roofing and Siding. In 1983, realizing the need to expand our exposure to the public and not confine our name to only Windows, we incorporated as Specialty Home Products, Inc. dba Specialty Windows.
