About Chabad Chevra is an open Jewish community at the University of Hartford. Students come to Chabad for the food and stay for the friends. www.facebook.com/groups/chevra/ Story Chabad Chevra is an organization at the University of Hartford, where Jewish students can socialize in a comfortable setting with great friends, great food, and great discussion, regardless of affiliation. Under the executive leadership of Rabbi Yossi & Dalia Kulek. Mission Chabad Chevra strives to make a difference and has made a tremendous impact on campus. We are a diverse group with students from all walks of life. Uniting Jewish students from all affiliations, Chabad Chevra seeks to be a “home away from home” for students at the University of Hartford and offers a wealth of religious, educational, and spiritual programs. At college, students are exposed to new ideas and experiences and our Chevra [community] seeks to ensure that students graduate stronger and more empowered than when they entered. Our programming always reflects tolerant, non-judgmental, and open discussions, which is a hallmark of Chabad’s inclusiveness. A unique quality of Chabad Chevra is the leadership provided by a dynamic couple, Rabbi Yossi and Dalia Kulek, who create an atmosphere where students can feel safe and seek guidance on a variety of social, educational, and spiritual issues. All events are always fun, exciting, and open to everyone!
