Story The Lewiston Police Department continues to seek new methods to communicate with the citizens and visitors of our community. Your police department employs 46 sworn officers and 22 civilians. LPD is responsible for providing law enforcement services to over 32,000 citizens of the City of Lewiston as well as nearly 150,000 visitors enjoying the recreational and business opportunities of our community.
