About Sharing the life changing hope of Jesus with every generation. Story God has called FSBCS to “on-mission” expressions of faith! “on campus” — we are “on mission” with Jesus when ministering scriptural truth, music, drama, fellowship, etc. to various age groups and strengthening the core of FSBCS: Family Bible Study and discipleship groups, Women’s Prayer Ministry, ARMOR, AWANA, GO, OutLoud, Club Night, Adult Choir, “Kidz4God” Ministry, Singles Ministry, Ethos (contemporary young adult ministry), Scottsdale Passion Play, Living Nativity. “beyond the walls” — we are “on mission” with Jesus when modeling the faith in home, secular, or street ministries, touching people where they have need: feeding the homeless, New AZ Families center, witnessing in public places, mission trips, home Bible studies and prayer meetings, Backyard Bible Clubs(summer), Good News Clubs (in public schools). “in partnership” — we are “on mission” and extending the Kingdom partnering with our own denomination or another, or with parachurch groups and independent mission projects: Southern Baptist Convention ministries (which include 10,000 missionaries in almost 140 countries), Uganda churches, Gideons, Baptist Student Ministries on AZ university campuses, Bible Study Fellowship, Child Evangelism Fellowship, “The Bridge” Housing Ministry, The Bridge @ ASU (young adult church), The Bridge @ Rio Vista (church and food & clothing ministry) Mission Becoming passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Achieving this purpose involves participating in an Acts 2 People Movement Model. Genuine worship (“Magnifying God”) happens through personal fellowship with God and his people (“Making Connections”), serious discipleship (“Maturing Believers”), authentic ministry (“Ministering to Others”) and lifestyle evangelism (“Multiplying our Faith”).
