About We are a United Methodist Church in western New York who welcomes all with open hands and hearts. Come and see!! Story The Orchard Park United Methodist Church (OPUMC) is located in the town of Orchard Park, NY, in the suburbs south of Buffalo, NY. The building was designed by a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. We have approximately 70 active church families (including single person families). We are wheelchair accessible .Our church has easy access entrances, an easy access unisex rest room, and a Liftovator for easy access between floors. Our Focus: "Caring for the Body and the Soul" We are working to bring an end to Hunger while feeding the hungry. Our National Motto: "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" Our Practical Theology : God is the spiritual parent, the creator, who loves unconditionally, saves, heals, renews, and empowers us through the Holy Spirit so that we may be in Service for others. The Christian Scriptures, as carefully and contextually interpreted for today's living, are the basis of our discipleship. Our Motto: "To live the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be God's love with our neighbors in all places" Mission The United Methodist Church of Orchard Park responds to God's call to be faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to share with each other, the community, and the world, God's message of unconditional love and acceptance. As a community of believers called to serve God and neighbor, we devote ourselves to the worship of God, to fellowship, and to Christian service. Led by the Holy Spirit, we accept the challenge to help fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ, to "go and make disciples of all nations" here in our local communities, and working with Christians everywhere, in all the world.
