About Chester & Chester is a cabinetry design studio located on Chicago's North Shore specializing in space planning, interior reshaping and custom cabinetry design for the home. Story Chester & Chester, a member of the NKBA, has been a fixture of Chicago’s North Shore for over thirty years. Todd L. Atkins, Chester & Chester’s senior designer since 1996, holds a degree in interior architecture from the Art Institute of Chicago. His design expertise is enhanced by his extensive knowledge of architecture, antiques, and furniture. Designer Laura Kaufmann has been with Chester & Chester since 2004. Laura holds a degree in interior design from the University of Alabama. Her expertise in design and appliance selection is informed by her appreciation of the finer things in life and a love of cooking.
