About Residential & Commercial Electrical Service Company. Serving South Florida Since 1990! Story Accura Electrical Contractor Inc. was founded by Manuel Barrera on March 21, 1990. He purchased his first service van for $2,100 and commenced contracting in the electrical industry. He gradually built the business over the years and is currently a preferred contractor serving a variety of customers in both the private and public sectors. In its more recent history Accura Electrical has served Miami-Dade County by working with several of its entities such as MDAD (Miami-Dade Aviation), MDPH (Miami-Dade Public Housing), MDT (Miami-Dade Transit), MDCPS (Miami-Dade Public Schools), MDCC (Miami-Dade Community College), MDPR (Miami-Dade Parks Recreation), JMH(Jackson Memorial Hospital), Port of Miami to name a few. Accura continues to grow expanding its services and staff to better serve our customers and community.
