About:
About A place for friends, family, and good times. Grab a drink, have a bite, or play a game! Story Room 111 was established in February, 2016, by Nate Swain as a place for community to come together for good times, good food, and good drink. Between its initial construction around 1876 and its sale to Charles Maccini in 1915, this historic building has seen use an agricultural supply store, a storage building, and a movie house, before the first candlepin bowling lanes opened to the public in December of 1916. This historic location is one of the oldest remaining candlepin bowling alleys in the United States, and has been a place of gathering for generations. Throughout its history, it has almost always been owned and operated by a member of the local community. As we celebrate being a part of what is now a 100-year-old tradition, we are committed to developing our local connections, and promise we will always put our community first. We hope you enjoy your time here with us, and come back again soon.
