About The Bonifas is a comprehensive arts organization dedicated to enriching life in the Upper Peninsula through exhibits, classes, events and programs. Story The Bonifas Arts Center occupies a former theater-gymnasium, donated to the City of Escanaba by the Diocese of Marquette. The buildings encompass two Galleries, a studio and additional studio space, a ceramics shop, kitchen, and Theater with green room, sound and light boards, and fully functioning stage.
