Story The East Shelby Library was opened in the late 1980s under the direction of Judith A. Drescher, the first female library director in Memphis. Located between Richwood and Pinnacle Point, the library offers classes on financial literacy and technology, as well as weekly storytimes and diabetes management workshops. East Shelby Library also acts as a community gathering place, as neighborhood organization meetings are often held at the branch.
