Mission The Friends is formed exclusively for charitable, literary, and educational purposes as specified in Sec 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended. These purposes are: To maintain a membership of persons and businesses (hereinafter referred to as “members”) supportive of the Greater Clark Hill Regional Libraries To support and cooperate with the Library in developing, maintaining, and enhancing facilities, resources, and services for the public; To stimulate the use of the Library’s facilities, resources, and services; To encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library; To build a greater realization of the importance of the library to the the community. To serve as a medium through which The Friends of the Library become acquainted with one another and share their mutual enthusiasm for books.
