About Home of the Muslim Community of Montgomery County Maryland. Story The Muslim community is working hard to build an Islamic Center in Germantown ( Islamic Society of Germantown, Inc.) This center, Insha'Allah, will provide a place to perform daily ibada, create an Islamic atmosphere, and home for the younger generation. There are no other Islamic centers of reigious facilities in the immediate vicinity. The Islamic Society of Germantown has been incorporated in the state of Maryland since 1998. It is performing the essential Islamic activities including Jumah prayers, taraweeh, and Halaqa (Islamic lectures). Other activities include helping our needy brothers and sisters when necessary. There is a great need for your support so to make this project a reality. You can sign up with our direct debit program, donate online or simply mail us your check ( for whatever amount you may chose ). The reward is great when responding to the call of Allah(swt). The community evaluated the existing and future Muslim population in Germantown.
