About Sacred Heart School is a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in West Des Moines, Iowa, established in 1954. Story Sacred Heart School strives to be a faith sharing community which is a part of the larger Christian community of Sacred Heart Parish. The primary purpose of Sacred Heart School is to assist parents in the Catholic education of their children by: - building on Christian ideals and attitudes established at home. -working toward development as true Christians who affirm the diversity that exists in our world.
