About Serving Central Illinois for 20+ years. We sell Trek, Electra, Landice Treadmills and Fitness Equipment and much more. We service all makes and models! Story The year was 1995 and Mr. Ed Thomas was attending EIU, needed extra income and felt Charleston could use another quality bike shop and thus, Bike & Hike Charleston was born. The two shops have continued to grow and evolve over the last 20 years to provide much more than just a bicycle, but an experience of what a bike can do for the family and the community. The biking industry continues to grow and flourish as the Baby Boomers are looking for means to get out and get in shape and have fun and we are honored to help keep that momentum moving forward. When in comes to cycling, whether it be for racing or just pure cruising enjoyment around the neighborhood, we can help and look forward to serving each and every one of you.
