Story

The Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center is a state of the art, award winning, indoor athletic competition complex and event center featuring over 76,000 square feet of column free and high ceiling turf fields and hard courts. The entire facility is climate controlled with central air conditioning, making summer activities comfortable. A mezzanine allows for viewing and team areas while additional seating for 200 spectators, an extensive concessions menu, and free wi-fi puts your fans in a comfortable environment. Additionally, the center has private rooms that can be utilized for parties or meeting space.

Owned by the Village of Romeoville, the complex is designed to meet the needs of organized public and private sports teams and clubs as well as the ever increasing demand for sport specific enhancement training, competitive leagues, and regional tournaments. The operational focus of the Center is aimed at high end competition. Complementing the recreation department’s local activities will be a professionally managed and programed regional athletic effort. We are committed to creating the finest indoor athletic environment in the Chicagoland area.
