I would give this school 0 Stars if I could. First of all the principal is creepy and he doesn't really greet the parents. The first week of pre-K for my daughter her teacher whom seems to think she's teaching college classes calls me to tell me basically that my child is slow when she's been Advanced at both of her former daycares and this woman doesn't even know my child a week into school to judge her and then lie and say that all her first time Pre-K students are reading I think we all know that's a lie. Since she has been gone mind you she took a vacation during the beginning of the school year and just got back this week almost 4 months into the school year, then she goes on to pry into my personal business asking about an old injury on her face that happened at her previous daycare which they have record of as well as the hospital does then she goes on to ask why my daughter is with my mother most of the time as I'm a full-time single mother and worker and student. Now that she is not there my daughter has become a word investigator because she is very good with reading and actually read a children's book to be and she knows several things in English and Spanish. Then the Pre-K teacher didn't even know which child she was even referring to after while she's too old and obviously is going through some dementia. Then the bus comes earlier than usual I leave out my house the same time every single day to pick my daughter up from the bus today it arrived 10 minutes earlier so I missed it by accident they threatened to call Child Protective Services on me because their bus came earlier than usual they don't care about your kids they're more concerned about making a check and making sure that they are out that door on time every day. The bus usually gets there at 2:22 I was at the school to pick her up by 2:40 so 20 minutes and these people were so selfish they were willing to put my child in the system as if something had been done to her. The school is not diverse the kids are mean and racist a week in my daughter came in asking when her hair was going to be long and silky I do not recommend this school for anybody and I will be filing a complaint very soon

I love Edward M Felegy Elementary School.  Dedicated staff and the principal is patient with disgruntled parents lol
