I'm sorry to see other people have had similar experiences here. I've been three times in the last five years, desperate for help and have been turned away for various reasons, none of them to do with my actual eligibility for assistance, but rather that they decided I didn't need their help. Once they actually told that me since I had been diagnosed and knew what my condition was, they couldn't help.

From what I understand, The purpose of this center is to offer mental healthcare to everyone even people without insurance. My son has been to this facility in Ponca City and was refered to another clinic because they did not believe he was at a point to need their services. He went in with full intention of trying to work out some of his problems to be refered to a clinic that he can not afford. I wonder how quickly he would have been treated if he had cash in hand and or a major  insurance company at his side.
This child is 1/4 native American with Pawnee benifits, but of course they do not accept it. Would not ever suggest this clinic to anyone ever. Very upset and angry that my child is being discriminated against do to lack of funds. Just say no to EDWIN FAIR, nothing fair about it.  JOE
