This is my favorite salon! I have been to so many in Connecticut, this is by far my favorite.  I love how involved the owners, Ellie and Georgie, are in their business. My hair grows very quickly and is asymmetrical, so I get it cut about once a month. I have seen almost every stylist there and they are all fantastic. Their customer service is impeccable. I have sent many people to get their hair cut there and they all also love this salon. Also, the prices are very reasonable considering the level of service.

Elli at EG Salon is wonderful. I've lived in 4 states and 3 countries and she's the best hairstylist I've ever had. I was self-conscious about getting my hair cut for years because of a skin/scalp condition but someone suggested I go to EG and she made me feel totally at ease. I then decided to make the transition from long hair to a pixie cut and she was totally into it. Unlike many hairstylists who try to talk customers out of making a big shift like that, she listened to the look I was interested in (I did my research beforehand -- brought in lots of pictures and clearly explained my vision) and she committed to cutting my hair short while also providing great feedback on how she thought it would look best. It's looked great every time she's cut it, and she's been really willing to make adjustments here and there in between full cuts since it's always a bit of a mystery how the curls will turn out exactly. I highly recommend Elli to anyone seeking a top-notch, enjoyable, and relatively affordable haircut.

I have curly hair and anyone who does, knows how hard it is to find someone who knows how to cut it. Well Shana at EG was amazing.  I have never felt so comfortable with any stylist before. She knew what to do and included me in all aspects of the beautiful cut I received. She asked me my opinion, was there something I felt I wanted different etc. A truly unique and satisfying experience. I found my salon!
