This little nook deserves 6 out of 5 stars. We lucked out and was seated as soon as we walked in on a Sunday morning. It wasn't long after that the place was brimming with a wait list. Our first time here and I wish we were closer. They have a wide variety of options from traditional egg plates to pancakes, French toast and more. And be ready, the portions are enormous! I ordered a Greek omelet and substituted for egg whites. My husband had the breakfast pizza, and we tried the rum raisin French toast. Everything was incredibly delicious. Our only disappointment was not being able to finish it all! Vegetarian options: A good variety of vegetarian options. Parking: Parking is tricky and tight.
The food and customer service was excellent. I like that the TV had closed captions turned on. It wasn't particularly disability friendly because the primary entrance is in the rear and requires stairs, but there are wheelchair accessible spaces by the front door. The owner/manager is attentive and incredibly kind to her staff. She was eager to help her staff out and always referred to them by their names. I appreciated that they don't have any single use plastics and even use paper straws. The food was well priced with huge portions and tasty. Even though the food took a while, it seemed perfectly fine because of how busy it was was and how attentive the server was. I would have appreciated it if the cooks were wearing hairnets over their long hair and beard. Ialso would've liked to have seen the staff and customers wearing masks. Some servers did wear a mask but there didn't seem to be any expectation which was disappointing. I loved the diner energy, lots of personal photos of grandkids above the register, and mismatched coffee mugs. I got a Teddy Bear Christmas mug.
My favorite breakfast place! This local gem is charming and filled with friendly faces. It’s small but they’re efficient; they seat you quickly and you never have to wait long for your food. I started coming here in 2013 during college and I’m happy to be back in the area so I can start eating here again. The food is consistent and always delicious. Everything I’ve tried has been great, but you can never go wrong with a classic special like Eggs N’at or Ironworker. Be sure to get the home fries and a pancake! The servers are wonderful, kind people and very attentive. If you’re visiting Moon Township or live here and haven’t been yet, you need to check it out!
Had the most wonderful brunch near my hotel and totally worth it. A small little place to get your morning going. A little extra wait to get seated and the food to arrive but totally worth the wait. I gor the pumpkin pancake and the harvest omelette with a cup of black coffee . Everything was delicious Perfect start to my day!! A must visit if you are in the area and also ample amount of parking space in the rear.
Group of 4 immediately sat on a busy morning with courteous service. Atmosphere is family friendly and comfortable, variety of options on menu and area was clean. The French toast is delicious! Would definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Fast and friendly service. We chose the dining outdoor option, even though there is indoor dining as well. The patio was nice and it was mostly screened off from bugs. The complimentary coffee was served in cute eclectic mugs. The french toast was thick and very hearty. They also serve fun specials, like birthday cake pancakes.
The best home fries I've had!! So good I got a second order! Very friendly and attentive staff, creative and interesting atmosphere, would highly recommend if you in the area!Food: 5/5
Found this little vintage-vibe nook in Pennsylvania, Not sure if it’s family-run but it sure gives you that vibe; Especially since every server and cashier is so inviting and incredibly nice. They do just that, make you feel at home. So if you’re out of town like I am Texas here!, don’t feel intimidated, it’s your dining area away from home. The queue for your food to arrive is about 30 minutes after you sit down but it is definitely worth it, bring your family and friends to make time pass by; or come alone and sit right in front of the show. I leave with a belly full of food; very filling. Chorizo is 10/10. This place definitely gets packed for a good and well deserved reason. The food is always amazing! God bless every worker in this establishment, they work their butts off and are on their A-Game every time! Give a try you won’t regret it.
When I travel from Columbus, Ohio I always try to hit "local" places and not some chain that I could get anywhere. This place was a fantastic "local" breakfast joint that you shouldn't sleep on. It gets busy fast, so get there early or prepare to wait as the interior isn't very big, but the food for sure has some size to it. Portions were great, and the service spot on. We got the biscuits and gravy, egg/sausage sandwich, and eggs with sausage links. The gravy was a little too sweet for us, but it was still well worth the price and tasty. The rest of the food we ordered was top notch, and the prices are fantastic. Don't sleep on this joint
What an awesome little cafe! The young ladies were so bright and cheerful, making everyone feel at home. My husband had the breakfast burrito which is a very filling size. I tried the mixed grill which comes in whole and half size. I was feeling hungry so I got the full size. It was cooked to perfection, and is also a generous portion. I now realize why they have a half portion! Most definitely worth the stop.
