If you hear screaming in a foreign language every time the kitchen door opens, you know the food is gonna be banger. Some of the best Cuban food I ever had to be quite honest. Tasty and filling. If you enjoy caffeine, I highly recommend getting an espresso from their menu after your meal. It might have been some of the best espresso I’ve have in Florida.
Been here about 4 times and the food is amazing I tried something new today and oh my god it was so good. Excellent customer service as well.
I love coming to El Bohío. My boyfriend and I live close and we enjoy this place for our Cuban food fix. I love their steak with garlic shrimp. The sauce they use is amazing. I came here recently with my friend an hour before closing on a Tuesday night and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. It is a nice setting and their menus are cute. My friend ordered the grouper in the garlic sauce and she loves it. Overall the food has an amazing taste to it, the atmosphere is great, the servers are very attentive, and oh I recommend their tres leche. Super tasty desert for sure.
Amazing whole fish. And the appetizer plate was great
A very authentic Cuban restaurant. I’m not Cuban, but my friend with whom I went is Cuban and recommended this place. It has very laid back open air atmosphere with various Latino music playing in the background. We both had an El Presidente cerveza, he had the Palomilla Steak and I had the Garlic Grouper. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal commenting on how delicious and tender it was. My Grouper came in a nice creamy garlic sauce that was so delicious and flavorful. The sides of rice, plantain and black beans were a perfect compliment to each meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent and affordable meal with very friendly service.
Food is great. Can have arrogant customers that dine in so I always order take out. Over all pretty decent.
El Bohio was delicious and authentic! I loved the decor, and the staff was very friendly. We had Cuban sandwiches and a tamale. The sandwiches were great but would suggest asking for extra sauce as it was a bit dry. On my quest for the perfect Cuban I would rate this sandwich a 3.5. Their homemade hot sauce however, was amazing! It wasn't too spicy but had great flavor. The tamale was good as well, I personally like them with a little more meat but for the price you can't beat it. I would definitely return here when I'm back in the area!
The best food and the waitresses are awesome. Mabel and Catalina are mine and my son's favorite they are the greatest!Food: 5/5
I decided to try them based on an article I read about the 10 best Cuban sandwiches in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. While that statement may be accurate I have no opinion on the matter, it certainly is not the best I have had off that list. So far, I have been to three of the establishments given the nod of approval in the article and this is about equivalent to the runner up. I should also mention my wait was fairly long, but the service I received was polite and friendly, much to the contrary of what many reviews I read of the restaurant have suggested. If I were to base my opinion of the place solely on the sandwich, I probably would not return, but if perhaps I am invited there by a group from work or friends, I would not mind going back.
Omg! Wow! Garlic Shrimp was incredible! I think I could spoon eat the sauce alone . Everything was fresh and came out fairly quick. Being the Cigar smoker I am, I was extremely pleased delighted and impressed at a separate area for us who enjoy a fine smoke. I didnt have the time to kick back and enjoy a nice Davidoff 6000 today, but I will next time we go!
