Love this food! This is not Tex Mex it's really Mexican! Yummy. Our waiter was excellent. Best food and service I have had in years! Please do yourself a favor and go here for dinner or lunch.

A family owned restaurant with a gregarious and hospitable atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Vegan options include the guacamole, mushroom quesadillas with cheese substituted for red sauce or tomatillo sauce and the bean burrito: the beans are made with vegetable oil, not lard, although the rice is made with chicken broth. They are happy to accommodate any requests you make.

Hands-down the best Mexican restaurant in Shreveport. I can't say enough good things about the food and friendly staff at El Comp.
