El Cozumel is great! A fun atmosphere with friendly staff and great food. Though the prices have gone up over the years you do get a sizable amount of food and the lunch specials are great. As a reformed lifelong picky-eater I have never ordered something and not liked it and I have no hesitations about trying new things there as a result. Great appetizers, drink options, and an expansive menu that is sure to have something for everyone. The staff are also great. I have never had a poor experience with any of the staff in all of my time going there. Some of the restaurant is a little tight so it might be a challenge for people with mobility issues but there are more spacious areas available. The bathrooms are accessible and always clean and well maintained. There's also seating available if you are waiting for a table, but we have never had to wait long.

Went on a date here we had tacos    they where shrimp,Fish, and steak each of them came with there own refried beans and rice!  All with there amazing staff and food they definitely try to make you feel relaxed and  anyone should try this place out if you love Mexican cuisine and great atmosphere with goodies like nachos and cheese

Service was good and food tasted fine.  Just warning the quesadilla is actually a taco if you order lunch.  It's $10 and literally the size of a taco bell taco pressed to appear more like a quesadilla.

Place is always busy for a reason. Food is great and always quick. Never had a bad experience here.

Descent food. Tacos are pretty good. Probably one of the top authentic Mexican restaurants with fitting decor. Wait staff is super friendly. Taco salad is solid. They do need a little more flavor to the burger. I'd definitely take my family back for dinner.

If you are looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, look no further than El Cozumel. Tasty food served on hot plates and an atmosphere that is cheerful and relaxing. 20, 40, or 60oz margaritas on the rocks or frozen. I recommend the frozen margarita here. The waitstaff are top-notch and super friendly. Very eager to help. Very affordable restaurant .  Vegetarian options: Plenty to eat here, even for vegans.

Wow!!! Super busy on a Thursday night! Go El Cozumel!!  Steak and Shrimp Fahitas my fav!

Love the decor here! Beautifully put together. Our server was amazing, I wish I had gotten his name. We noticed him working his behind off, he never stopped moving! As for the food, it wasn't my favorite around Flint, but it wasn't bad!Food: 3/5

First time going and I only rated this restaurant at a 3 because our waitress showed more attention to the Caucasian customers and barely came to check on our table of 4. Given chips & salsa with no plates and she never came back to refill the chip baskets. However, the Shrimp chimichangas we're Good & nice size- just needed more shrimp. Shrimp fajitas had only 9 pieces of shrimp unlike other Mexican restaurants she has went to so my mom was a little disappointed. A waiter or waitress can make a 1st time experience enjoyable or not so she failed to make me or my mom want to come back!
