Want Mexican? You have no choice in this one horse town, this is it. They do something weird to their ground beef that removes all the flavor and leaves a mushy goop. Maybe it's fake beef, maybe they cook it by boiling it. I've never had Mexican food without the spices, until I came here. Food was bland and textures were soggy. But it was hot, fast, and cheap so 3 stars.

A pleasant surprise along a lonely Kansas highway!!  If you're passing this way - definitely stop in for some genuine home-style Mexican food.  Served fast and courteously.  Great Margaritas too!!

They sat us in a back room (with the other customers, 3 tables counting my family) where they only had the lights on in half the room, it was dark, while the front room was fully lit up with no customers. Strange. The food was ok but nothing to brag on, it was overly seasoned. We also expected it to be similar to the El Dos De Oros we are used to back home, it was nothing alike. 
:( Sadly we will not be going back.

No matter where we go we're always glad to come home to our own Mexican restaurant it is the best and the measuring stick and which we compared to.
