I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and started off at the little York location as my first visit as a child. When I moved to humble as a teen I frequented the location here in Atascocita. When the mom and son ran this location the food and especially the salsa was so good and the service was great. Now, the service is sub par and the horrible waitresses who didn’t serve you well if you didn’t speak Spanish at the other location are now at this location with the same attitude. I drove from spring where I live, to Atascocita because I was craving their salsa. The guy at the front convinced me to buy the 32 oz and it took him a while to bring it out which I thought was odd since the restaurant had only two customers. Please review the videos ….the salsa was 50% water, and had no smell or taste to it. I called to let them know I was dissatisfied and they said I could bring it back. Mind you I live 35-40 minutes away and had my sons track meet that day so I told them I would be back the next day to return it for a fresh one. I returned today and spoke with the managerson of the owners I’m told and before saying he would fix it or apologize he wanted to let me know how salsa is made and that it’s boiled down with water. Then says but if I’m dissatisfied he would replace it. He offered nothing for my trouble of driving back and forth or the low quality of the product but he did bring me out more salsa and chips after another longer than normal wait. Especially for just getting salsa…and the result is the salsa is still watery and flavorless. Or tasted like watered down tomato. so either they tried to cut my salsa with water twice to be cheap or their salsa has severely been downgraded to tomato water. I paid $10.32 and drove 40 min there and 40 min back twice for this. Ultimately I’m sad because I used to love their salsa and the love and good customer service the mom and son gave when running this restaurant.
Food was amazing. I can’t believe I had never tried this place before or nobody had told me about it. I’m picky with Mexican restaurants but I was impressed. It was also affordable and service was great. The drinks were also great!
I come here a lot with my daughter we order the same food and I’ll order a drink . Today I made a visit and got the tequila sunrise drink and it did not taste like it was made right. I asked if I could get something different after drinking it and was told that I couldn’t return it. Laura Diaz , as she stated her name was and stated she was the “manager” told me I had to pay for the drink regardless of if I liked it or not. I told her I just would like something different. She hadn’t given me a water or anything and offered me a sprite. Told me I can’t order anymore alcohol after my one order that I wished to return. There’s currently no sign posted to ensure customers are aware of their new drinking policy. Sad to say I will not be back to my favorite food spot because of this. I hate to pull the color card but I definitely see this as an example. Food is good service is horrible. I em ever when the old lady owned it this place has driven down so much. It’s no longer a family oriented establishment. It’s not the same as before.
One of my favorite restaurants in our area! Great queso and nachos. My only feedback would be that it's very slow. We have a hard time getting the servers' attention when we need our check. We usually don't eat here when we're in a hurry just because of that. But, delicious food! We will keep coming back!
My first visit. Very friendly staff. I placed an order to go. They made suggestions on what to order. I ordered the beef fajita taco dinner. The order was ready pretty fast. I got home and sat down to eat. Food was very good.Food: 5/5
Went to lunch here with my Husband and Daughter. Food was bland. Drinks were great. However everything was going ok until a roach crawled across the table. Yuck. Waitress was wonderful. They didn't make us pay for our meal. Drinks only.Food: 1/5
My new favorite local Mexican restaurant. Great flavors, great service, great prices. I have had a few of the menu items and have not had a single disappointment. So delicious.
The food was excellent. Great flavor . Service was excellent. ERICA bartender was very nice. The staff and the environment was great! The owner over the establishment was great he talks to the customers. I recommend this place . !Food: 5/5
I had the worst experience. Ordered a strawberry margarita, and it came with some hard pieces inside of it. The server kept saying it was fresh strawberry but whatever it was it was hard and very unpleasant. I asked to exchange the drink for a regular margarita and she said I couldn’t. We asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. I promptly cancelled my order because how can you be a manager and not care about customer satisfaction. Horrible customer service, I won’t ever be back and I’ll discourage anyone I know from going.
Very much enjoyed the catered fajita tacos they provided for our event. We’ll have to go visit them sometime soon to enjoy the rest of the menu as well.
