I have been looking for a mexican place to eat on a regular basis, and I have found IT! The tacos here are amazing, tortillas are fresh and the filings are seasoned just right! Definitely will come back, it's sad to see this place so empty for a Saturday night though. If you are looking for great Mexican food, you have to visit El Matador! You will not regret it. Staff is friendly, they greet you with a smile and are really attentive.

Great place, although we wish the portions were a little bit more generous, it's overall a nice restaurant. Friendly service in English and Spanish, they have birria tacos which are hard to find, as well as pozole and chilaquiles. We'll come back.Food: 5/5

First time trying El Matador 2 and it was delicious! I had the small carnitas tacos for $1.50 each and the Sopa de res. Will definitely come back!

The best tacos I ever had and specially shrimp tacos. Everything was great and the service was amazing. I will definitely come back.

I had a milanesa chicken torta and it was good. My hubby had the Birria tacos and liked them too. Took some churros to go and they were yummy as well. I liked their great customer service and how tentative the waiter was if we needed anything else. We will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu

The presentation and portion sizes were nice however the food was below average to me. I got 3 ground beef tacos and a side of beans and rice. There was too much garlic in the rice and the corn tortillas were soggy and flavorless. I did not enjoy my meal at all.

My fiancé and I have order from this restaurant twice, and the first time we were extremely hungry so we bought 2 burritos  chicken and Al pastor 1horchata and it was delicious and fresh! We got it today and honestly it was better than the first time, they got our business, the food was fresh, the restaurant is beautiful with great decor, the staff is very friendly. It’s all good vibes.

El Matador has really stepped up to the plate with their outdoor dining since COVID began. From the front it may look like they are closed but they have an awesome outdoor seating area under a large lit tent on a patio in the rear of the restaurant.  The entrance to that patio area is to the side of the building but does have a large sign to let you know it’s there. As always the food and the service was excellent, and reasonably priced to boot. A definite thing to note is the restaurant is BYOB so bring a drink and enjoy the delicious food and outdoor seating.

This place is absolutely the best for authentic Mexican food. They create a sense of family and are super friendly! They deserve more stars but 5 is the max! It’s BYOB! what’s not to love ??

Bring some quarters for parallel parking in front of the restaurant. There is some really nice outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant.  The street corn, quesadillas, and tacos were really good!
