It's pretty much just one path. Nice little park I guess?
The origin of the name of the wealthy city in the San Francisco Bay Area Palo Alto. Here in 1778 the Spanish expedition and friar stay here under the big Redwood trees called Palo Alto or Big tall stick in Spanish. It is a small ark with San Francisquito creek running through it. It is a wild indigenous plant park with a good road through it. There are many tall redwood in this park.
The “park” connects Menlo Park and Palo Alto. It also has the famed tall tree that gives the city its name. It’s a nice walk though. Playground: No playground Restrooms: No restrooms
Smaller than what I thought. Good place to walk for a couple of minutes.
One of the nicer of the city parks in the area. Located right next to downtown and palo alto transit center, this park has great secluded areas for relaxing, and a bridge overlooking the creek. Theres also some information about restoration projects happening. Lots of wildlife everywhere. Great park!
Nothing particularly wrong with this "park," other than the fact that it could pass as a regular ole path between Menlo Park & Palo Alto. Plus, there's a sign emphasizing a water restoration project in the creek--but sadly, there is no water. Still, a nice lil walk through some shady trees.
The El Palo Alto tree, city emblem, Stanford mascot. Struggling to survive but it's still here! Nice little park with history and other informational signs. California Historic Landmark #2.
It's THE Palo Alto / Stanford tree; a living historical icon. Its setting leaves something to be desired, hemmed in by roads, railway and stream - but that's hardly the tree's fault.
Good little park with the tallest Palo Alto in Palo Alto! Dog-friendliness: It's just a path with a bridge
Very small park but still very peaceful and relaxing. The info plaques were a nice touch.
