The food was really good, I had the white rice with pepper steak. Only negative the steak was a bit hard I had to chew a bit more than I would like but it was well seasoned where I didnt need to add any pepper or salt to the meal. I went into the restaurant before they close and there wasn't alot of food  choice but the food that they had left was good my husband had the pork and yellow rice with beans. He stated that the meal was great I do not eat pork so I couldn't say if it's good or not but he said it was.

Came up here to the lodge and our son wanted some rice and beans so we stopped here... The food is good.... A little pricey for their sandwiches .... The sub was small and was about $11... The chicken and yellow rice with black beans was a good portion though for the money.   Their cakes were good too ..
For a fam of 4 we spent $40 here... Not bad compared to pay $90 at the lodge for dinner.
Customer service was good too... Didn't experience any ill service. 
Def take out though... Don't plan on sitting in and eating..  Only 6 mins away from the lodge which made it convienent...

Food is good but they literally have bad and good days. One day i didnt even eat my food. Far from spanish, no taste. Plantains that were supposed to be green tasted lile maduros. The steak they serve is not made to be nice and soft. Instead it was hard a bit uncooked, you cant heat up that food next day, and other days the food taste ok. Im not coming back

The customer service is always on point I only go here and one other place in the Poconos. The owner knows us and, always has a genuine chat. The Alcapurrias are literally the best. My boyfriend surprises me with them when he comes home from work. The tres leches cakes are soooo good. I usually have to go to NY for food like this, literally everything is so good!
