We had no idea this place existed, and were really thrilled with how unexpectedly beautiful and interesting it was. It is definitely worth a visit for those interested in the history and architecture of northern New Mexico. I'd also highly recommend trying some of the locally grown and mixed chili powders sold by the vendor on site.

This is one of my favorite spots in New Mexico. The room with the sacred dirt and crutches is a sight to see. The shop owners in the area are incredibly nice, and the grounds are beautiful.

We were with Filipino Monsignor Jerry R when we came here. And he was allowed to say Mass there, with me as the lector. This is a solemn place where you have to take time to visit because it is up in the mountains. I brought home some of the miraculous "holy dirt" which I take along with me wherever I go. The petitions I wrote in a piece of paper and left in the church have been answered. Will go back there again if I had the chance. Thank you.

Quick road trip from Albuquerque and there's lots to see. Go earl in the day, have lunch at Rancho de Chimayo and then visit the Santuario that closed at 5pm.

Same as it has been since i have been coming from the last 3 decades. This year I came in the winter and it's light up with luminarias. I have made it a yearly trip to come up and get the Holy Dirt, and in the Summer months you can see the Sunday morning Mass outside, and now they will be adding more outside masses.I will be back walking for Holy Week 2018.
