I don't normally write reviews but this place deserves it! My husband and I decided to try this place for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. The young man working was so nice, the food was fresh, and the price was great! We are already making plans for our next visit! Below are my tostadas. 10/10!!!
I'm writing this review with the fantastic flavors still in my mouth. Friendly, fast and delicious. Red and green sauces were great. They let me take a sample of the hot salsa from the salsa bar. NOTE: Some regions use generous amounts of oregano. So for negative reviewers thinking they were getting MI Pueblo, grow up. This is better.
!!Update!! Ok it's been a while since I have posted my original review and to say the least this is still just awesome food. Yes the prices are great my meals do cost more because I can't help but order more than any human should eat. The fresh topping bar and pintos are not out like they used to be but that is only because of the way things are with Covid ugh!. Why can't I put up 10 stars! The best authentic Mexican food I have had without going all the way back to AZ. Fresh ingredients and awesome flavor. Toppings bar with fire roasted and pickled jalapenos, pico, radish, and lime...and the free pintos to top it all off which were great!
Love this place. Owner always makes me an off the menu item that people in the know call the BOMB. Love it and enough food to eat multiple times off of. Tacos are good and authentic as well. Sure other food is delicious but the bomb is my go to!Food: 5/5
There would be more stars if I were given more. This place has the BEST authentic Mexican food in NC. I've had it all over and thought I found the best in Texas, but not anymore. My wife said that she'll have the shrimp tacos at least once a week now. The tortas are also the bomb. I will be trying their pastor next, which I'm sure is going to be amazing. I'm glad that we live close because this will now be a weekly eatery for my family. Please try this place if you love Authentic Mexican food, the service is just as great as the food.
Always great food. The tacos, burritos and tortas are excellent!
Great authentic Mexican food
I’ve been wanting to check this little restaurant out for awhile. I did today and wish I’d gone there sooner. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious! This is authentic Mexican food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
We got burritos, popusas, and tamales, and the horchata. These are the absolute BEST ones we've ever had! The burritos are huge, so if you're a light eater, you may want to get one to split! We got our carryout order super fast, he even brought it out to the car to us! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Just go!
I ate authentic Mexican food all my life in Southern California, and sadly this food did not come close. The approach seems authentic, but the food itself is severely lacking in flavor. The salsas have zero kick, the rice is crunchy -way beyond traditional toasted Mexican rice, and don't think you're gonna get Asada here. It might as well be ground beef from Taco Bell. Plus, all of the four burritos I ordered were missing avocado. One and done.
