So I'm a regular at the Tarasco on main St, so I figured this one was the same. Oh boy I was wrong so I got the chike relleno dinner and enchilada. The cheese in the middle of my Chile relleno was literally hard and not melted it was in chunks. Only melted cheese was the on on top. I didn't say anything because I'm the type that will not complain, but I know I won't return. So my experience was not to my favor.
Wonderful Grilled Ribeye Steak Medium Rare with grilled veggies with rice and beans. The Carne Asada was good but just a bit dry. The chips was nice and warm and excellent salsa with Pico de gallo.
This is a definitely a favorite Mexican restaurant in this area! We went on a recommendation from a local man. We were not disappointed. The HOMEMADE corn tortillas were so soft and delicious . The fajitas had a wonderful Chipotle sauce and the salsa was very flavorful.Food: 5/5
So I can understand why this place could probably get 3.2 stars out of 5. There service is sometimes lackluster, but their quality of food is usually pretty consistent. I don't come here too often, but when I do I come to this location only because the food always has a better taste the the downtown location. Service isn't always consistent, but hey they always tend to be really busy so its understandable. Just keep the drinks flowing along with the smiles and I'll wait for the great food with a huge smile myself. I will still be your customer.
The food is ok but the service is just as bad as the one on Main. They act like you should be grateful that they let you eat there. They had a whole meltdown and got so arrogant when I decided to eat my to-go order inside instead. I didn’t make them put it on a plate, I ate it in the to go box so it was already packed when I was ready to leave with my leftovers. And unfortunately they got a generous tip before they were so rude and had to let me know that they did me a huge favor by letting me sit down to eat lunch in their almost completely empty restaurant.
Used to be great food great service. One of our favorite places . Over the years they either got new cooks , new management or both . We gave it a few last shots but we are done trying.
