Fantastic environment, and I mean FANTASTIC.  Such a cool setup. If you can stop looking around and grab a bite to eat you'll find the food is just as tasteful. The staff here is super friendly and helpful too. Can't say enough good things about this place. I should probably be here more often.

When I was growing up in the Akron area there were a ton of great Italian restaurants in the area.  There are fewer Italian spots, but there are a ton of Mexican eateries.  This means that they have to compete for your business.  El Tren has evolved since the 1st time that I dined there a few years ago.  They are bordering on a dining experience now.  The fresh made guacamole is a tad expensive if you are dining with one or two, but it is worth it because it makes your  dinner into an experience.

Disclaimer, this place isn’t bad, but not the best in the area for your dollar. Big menu selection, clean and well decorated. Good beer selections. Food was just so-so. Presented well, but definitely American-Mex. Food was nothing special, meat was over saturated in sauces/juices to try to hide that it was a tad dry. Good portion size. Again, not bad, but not the most flavorful, most affordable, or authentic Mexican place in the area.

Best around the area. Friendly and expedient service. You get a lot of food for your money. It's pretty darn good too.

My favorite restaurant in Tallmadge. The table side guacamole is absolutely fantastic and it’s neat watching them make it. Food portions are varied, portions are huge, and has always been tasty to me. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Been here multiple times and had a great experience each time.
