My 6 year old son and I love this place! The service is great and the staff is friendly. The food is good as well. Great atmosphere. This is the only Mexican restaurant I go to in Danville, VA.

El Vallarta is always a great spot for Mexican.  The service and food are consistently solid, prices are reasonable, and waits for seating and food are short, even when they are packed.

I particularly like the steak Burrito California, a big burrito filled with onions, refried beans, and steak, and smothered in cheese and molé.  I think I could eat my weight in the salsa and chips.  I always pair whatever I order with a tall draft Dos Equis dark.  The Don Felipé sandwich, a Mexican take on a cheesesteak, is a favorite of my wife and is also quite good.
