I can't account for any of the negative reviews of this salon, because I saw Amanda, and she was GREAT! I'm currently living with the best cut I've had in years. Amanda instantly put me at ease. I wasn't watching her cut and being nervous because I was afraid she didn't 'get' what I wanted. We had about a 5 minute consult, she got it and went to work. I also loved that this salon did not pressure me to reschedule. They certainly offered it, but did not push it on me. I hate it when salons do this. If a customer is really happy with the work, they'll be back, and in this case, I will be!

I always enjoy and look forward to my hair appointments at Elan. I am greeted by friendly, smiling and professional staff each visit.  I have been seeing Rachel there for at least several years now.  I keep coming back to her 
 because she always does a great job on my hair!  She takes the time to listen and really wants me to leave happy and feel like I am getting what I am paying for.  But hair aside,  no matter what kind of mood I walk in there with,  I always leave feeling uplifted and beautiful inside and out.  Also,  the atmosphere is clean and calming and I love the Aveda products that are used.  (Especially the smell!!) Thanks Rachel and Elan!

I am glad to see that at least some people get what they pay for here. I definitely did not.  My hair was ruined for 3+ months after color and cut. I do not recommend going here unless you have super fine, super thin hair. It seems that they do not know what to do with thick, wavy, ethnic or biracial hair.

I have been a client at Elan for over 12 years. I have always been extremely happy with all of the services I receive in both the salon and the spa. The staff are all so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers which is appreciated. I often get compliments on my cut and color by Angie. I cannot recommend Elan enough!

I want to Elán to do something very drastic with my hair, going from very light blonde to a deep chocolate color.  The ladies at the front desk were very sweet, and made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. My stylist, Emily, was absolutely wonderful! We went over different options with my hair color and the cut afterwards.  She and another stylist, Angie, helped me feel comfortable with the new cut I was getting since I was pretty nervous, having recently received a cut I was extremely unhappy with.  I now have chocolate brown hair with lots of dimension that feels healthier than I could've imagined.  Thank you Emily, Angie, and the welcoming staff at Elán for being so patient and caring, and making me feel so comfortable through the experience!
