I hired Jackie because I needed someone to guide me through a legal issue that I wasn't comfortable doing it alone. She and her staff were non-judgemental and led me through the process, with no worries. I would recommend Jackie... they sure made my life easier and less stressful!! Thanks to all of them!!

I had a telephone pre-trial conference with Jacquelyn Wolter concerning a traffic citation. This was for an unregistered trailer. WI law requires trailers over 3000# to be registered. Mine is 1800#s empty and was not weighed nor had the contents looked at by the officer (enclosed trailer) She told me this would be dismissed based upon evidence I provided after checking the registration requirements. She just wanted me to email a document from the manufacturer stating the empty weight which I did. Months later I receive a letter from the DMV stating my license is suspended for not paying the fine. I called to speak with Jacquelyn about this but received her assistant who told me I never had the pretrial. I explained to her my recollection of the pre trial and she said she would have to look into it. After 3.5 business days of my calling them and leaving messages with the secretary I finally get a call from an assistant who now states that Jacquelyn remembers having a discussion during the pre-trail but she never said it would be dismissed. I guess I should have recorded the conversation. They recommended I re-open the case. I called the court to do just that and was told too much time had lapsed so my only option was to pay the fine (plus reinstatement fee) Thanks Jacquelyn

Jane Wolter is good in court but takes on far too many clients and does not have time to provide quality service. If you like being "churned and burned", this is the firm for you!
