Decent picnicking areas. Nice big shelter you can reserve. Beautiful trees and well kept grounds. Not crowded and enough parking. Ok trails. Biggest drawback is ambient noise from highway, frequent trains, and unfortunate neighbors who fire loud semi automatic weapons frequently

it is in close proximity to Heritage Prarie Farm where I go weekly to pick up my CSA.  It has a couple of low impact hiking trails and since it is a squirrel reserve, it is also a great place to watch squirrels.

Oregon trail marker. Walk park lot asphalt or woodedfields. Also a wild life drop off.

I stumbled upon this place back in April and it's a great place for walking and taking in great views of nature. It's right next to railroad tracks too.

Shelter area is very clean. Worked with the staff at the Kane County Forest Preserve office to reserve this spot for my daughters graduation party. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and very helpful.
