My first experience with this retailer was fabulous. My local delivery, single bouquet order was a 'Build Your Own' roses arrangement for which I chose a number of premium options on-line. My experience was virtual only. I did not speak with any of the shop staff throughout the transaction. The arrangement was stunning. The baby's breath filler and rose quality and longevity exceeded my expectations. The 'mixed colors' option that I chose was a shot in the dark for a first order but the result was pure goose bumps! The colors were exquisite and the overall visual impression of the arrangement was, as I said in my opening, fabulous. The web site is very easy to navigate and the custom 'Build Your Own' options are wonderful. I especially like the wide range of size options and the ability to select short or tall. I also like being able to select color range and type. I thought the "Female Colors', 'Bright Colors' and, 'Pastels' options were cool. I have some suggestions for expanding the custom options on the site: First, I would like to be able to select an 'Art Glass' vase option. I would gladly pay a premium for a genuine, colored glass (not painted or enamel stained) vase that could be reused in the home as a permanent decoration. Second, I would like to be able to select my flower type for a custom bouquet, subject to availability of course. Perhaps I want an all daisies bouquet, for instance. These are minor wants when taken as part of the big picture. Overall I had a Five Star, on-line experience with this retailer. I found their product to be superior in every way that matters. They exceeded all of my personal expectations. BRAVO! I cant wait to stop by and meet you guys. :c)

My experience with Elegant Flowers was severely disappointing. I ordered flowers two weeks in advance, and at that time, I spent 10 minutes explaining the importance of the event. It was a 95th birthday, and I ordered these flowers on my dad's behalf, as he attended this party. It was his first time meeting this group of people, and I explained that it needed to be a showstopper. I stressed that I wanted hight, drama, all premium flowers, and no filler. My budget was $150 (not including tax or delivery. I was assured they'd do something special. To be sure, I called the day before the event to once again stress the importance of this bouquet and my request for all premium flowers and no filler. They said it would be done, and they offered to text me a picture of the bouquet before it was delivered. The picture arrived and the bouquet was absolutely mediocre. It was not particularly big, and it had daisy filler and green fillers. It was forgettable- not the show stopper I had requested twice. I immediately texted back asking them to change it, and it has already left for delivery. I felt like I was punched in the stomach. The salesperson assured me it looked bigger in person, but it didn't. And it wasn't what we requested. My dad trusted me to find a florist (the party was in Madera, and I paid extra for delivery because I thought I'd found the best designers in the area). He wanted to do something very special, and despite my efforts to communicate this, our requests were ignored. Further, Elegant offered to pick up the bouquet Monday (party was on a Saturday) and drop off a replacement. I explained that everyone would be gone by Monday and it wouldn't matter. We had one chance to nail it, and we were just severely disappointed. Out of the over $180 tab, I was refunded $75. This was no consolation as I essentially got what I paid for, and at the end of the day, the product was in stark contrast to what I ordered in my first phone call, and iterated in my day before check-in phone call.
