Everyone is always very helpful at this library. I've never noticed excess noise but that could be due to the time of day I visit. I like SC Lends because I can put items on hold online and they get them from whatever library has them (if the Elgin branch doesn't already have them) and then notify me when they come in.

I love it. They have a private room so when my mom goes there with my baby brothers and I we can all go in there.

Internet, fax, copy machines rarely work. The staff have always been friendly and the selection is fair for the size of the library. It's disturbing that cell phones are allowed to be used inside and the general noise is considerable. I take headphones when I need to focus.

They keep the phone off the hook so they dont have to answer and be lazy, also the fat lady st the desk is verry ignorant and snide and won't help anyone, very rude staff
