This one's a bit tricky to review. We went here to celebrate a birthday in the family. Firstly, the decor was really not my thing. They're going for a theme, I found it a bit tacky, but that's completely a matter of personal opinion and taste. They do present and conduct themselves as a more upscale establishment, and I must say that the service itself there is 5-star excellent. Another thing this place does right is that it had a full, extensive list of its bar selections ranging from scotches & bourbons to wines and beers - an impressive list indeed. Here's the thing. The food itself just doesn't live up to the $30 plates check. My wife and I had the salmon, it was good but didn't really wow either one of us. My sister-in-law ordered the duck and ended up trying to give away as much of it as possible to others at the table - I too didn't enjoy it. My mother-in-law seemed happy enough with the seafood pasta. We ordered the desert board at the end, the selections on which ranged from eh to very good. They were all out of a few selections though, so admittedly it wasn't their full desert platter. In the end, the highlight of the place was the wonderful service, but I really feel you can get much more bang for your buck elsewhere for both similarly priced establishments and cheaper options.

The service in this place was extraordinarily slow taking an hour and a half from when the order was placed to bring out our food. The food its self ranged from mediocre to kind of good but for the price this place was charging the quality of the food and drinks should have been better. If you are going to charge NYC prices in NJ you should have the best food going. Very impressed overall. The only good thing about this place is the ambience but make no mistake this place is all sizzle no steak.

This place was very elegant and the ambiance was amazing. Very well decorated and the food also met such expectations. We had the mussels appetizer and it was Amazing and a large portion for the both of us. My husband got the skirt steak and he really enjoyed, quality meat and the flavor was on point. Will def try this place again, oh and we got oysters which were out of this world

Went there with a group of 8 for a friends birthday. Love the open space with a modern near the water look. We ordered everything from apps to main courses to dessert to try out different dishes and I was impressed! Place is a little pricey but worth it for the quilaty and ambiance. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the service was on the slow side. It's a new spot so I'm hoping it would improve when it comes to service.

Our compliments to Nikko. This was a fantastic dining experience. Food and service impeccable. Words cannot do it justice. A must try for everyone. Another great dining experience. Overall the Restaurant is rather pricey, but a bargain relative to the quality of service and food. Not a family type, but a great date, romantic outing or a business dinner. After several visits nothing has been compromised. I was actually shocked after ordering a Steak in a Greek Seafood restaurant, it was perfectly medium rare as requested and nicely prepare, very flavourful.
