Elisha L. Morris understands that family law issues are personal and emotional. She has the compassion and understanding to work hard to minimize the financial and emotional impact which such cases have upon her clients. She is a member of the Rhode Island Family Court Bench Bar as well a former member of the Family Law Inns of Court.

Ms. Morris represents clients in various immigration matters including deportation defense, adjustment applications, petitions to remove the conditions on residence and naturalization applications. She represents clients in the Providence Immigration Office and the Boston Immigration Court. Ms. Morris has obtained outstanding results in the Boston Immigration Court including termination of proceedings and cancellation of removal.

Ms. Morris also represents clients who suffer personal injuries, lost wages and pain and suffering as a result of automobile accidents. She recognizes the effect an automobile accident or other personal injury may have upon an individual and their family. Ms. Morris will obtain the maximize recovery in the shortest time possible.

I retained Elisha for my divorce. She is very competent in her field and solution oriented. She did everything possible to achieve the most favorable outcome. Her colleague said during an initial meeting that: “She is a lioness in the court room”. Her reputation in court did not require her to use this fierce trade. At least not in my case. 
Divorce is now final and I could not be more thankful to having had Elisha on my side. 
If I had to retain an attorney again for a family court matter, Elisha would be first on the contact list.

The quality services I received from Elisha Morris were remarkable. From our initial meeting through all interactions inside and outside of court.  Elisha is very responsive to calls, questions and concerns. All issues were handled professionally and timely! It was obvious Elisha is well respected in the courthouse yet strong and focused on your case. I would highly recommend Attorney Elisha Morris.  She is a very smart and compassionate attorney with a very high level of professionalism and compassion while always looking out for her clients best interest.

When presented with the challenge of a divorce, I consulted many friends in the legal community and nearly all of them told me that Elisha was the best.  Once we started working together, I instantly knew why she came so highly regarded.  Not only is she incredibly professional and knowledgeable, she took the time to explain everything to me and made sure that I fully understood each step of the process.  

The divorce was supposed to be a simple agreement, but once things took a turn for the worse (as they tend to), Elisha worked with me to make sure that my side of the story was conveyed and my voice was heard, resulting in a positive judgement for me.  Her positive relationships with everyone else in the court (other lawyers, clerks, judges, etc...) gave us the chance to work through the process without making it a long, drawn out affair.  

Lastly, one of my biggest fears was the expense of a divorce and hiring a lawyer of Elisha's caliber.  She was more than fair with billing and at no point did I feel like I was being nickle and dimed over hours and I truly feel that I got the best possible value.      

I can without a doubt say that working with Elisha is the best decision I could have made and know that she worked tirelessly to make this as painless of a process as possible.

Attorney Elisha Morris has been extremely professional and responsive throughout my dealings with her.
