The Belen Elks Lodge #2499 is a non-profit fraternal organization built on the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity.

Story

Belen Elks Lodge #2499 serves the Communities of Valencia, Socorro and Torrance Counties through Benevolent and Charitable work.

The Order of Elks has grown to include more than 1 million men and women in more than 2,100 communities across the United States.

Over the course of the order's history, more than $3.6 billion in cash, goods, and services have been disbursed to the nation's youth, veterans, the disadvantaged and handicapped, and to individuals and groups in support of patriotic and civic programs.

The BPOE is ranked as one of the largest private providers of college scholarships in the nation with over $3.4 million disbursed annually.

Mission

To inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks
of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share!
