Very interesting experience and she was very kind and courtesy over the phone but overall couldn't effectively communicate. She made me feel very low about my family tax situations especially the reason why I was reaching out for help. She maybe the best and truly great with tax law but can come off very condescending to your situation.

Ellyn Tanenberg is a trusted professional.  Upon taking my case, she immediately began work without delay.  Creating an environment in which I was comfortable expressing concerns and asking questions, she diagnosed the matter and carefully explained what would need to be done.  Ms. Tanenberg showed great respect for accurate numerical data, and was precise in their use.  She demonstrated working knowledge of law and regulation, as well as skill and experience dealing with governmental tax agencies and other CPAs.  Her strong organizational skills allowed me to track our progress each step of the way.  At the completion of each meeting, Ms. Tanenberg reminded me what next needed to be done, and set the next appointment.  If I was unavailable to commit to an appointment right away, she would give me a general idea of  her availability further out in time.  As a result, I was never frustrated or surprised in planning and scheduling the next appointment.  She worked without unnecessary delay to complete the work.  Throughout, Ms. Tanenberg was conscientiously responsive; she thoroughly resolved my tax issue.  I highly recommend her.

Ellyn has helped me with numerous tax issues personally and around my business and is always thorough and knowledgeable.   She works around my busy travel schedule and always manages to make time for me.   I've been a client for almost 5 years and am very satisfied.

Ellyn was terrific.  She worked late nights and weekends to resolve my tax issue within the set time parameters.  She was always available and returned phone calls and emails promptly.  She was very knowledgable of  the DC tax code, and she maintains relationships with the proper individuals at the tax commission to ensure issues were dealt with fairly, rationally, and promptly.
