Great store, nice people

This newer Truck Stop and Eatery is excellent! This store has the cheapest cash gas price in the area, even to Altus buy five cents! Quality gas, though it uses Ethanol but only the minimum amount. It's three cents discount for cash payers and regular price for Card, debit or credit. But still low. This is also a nice truck stop. Easy to fill up, pay, and go. You don't have to pay right away for truckers.Food is priced fair and well! Better for lunch though, prices are better. Burgers are grilled and sides can be baked upon request, otherwise lightly fried. Plenty of snacks and sodas to keep you full and happy. And the beer is definitely almost the same price as Waly World. The best news? The burgers are big, the sides are big, sides are plentiful in quantity, and the bathrooms are clean! The previous owners did something to floors but the new owners are fixing it quickly! The best part is that, the service is superb! I mean this is your  excellent service eatery and gas station. They give truckers and the local farmers a lot of respect offering tabs for pre-pay accounts for gasoline! Many benefit from this service in this area, and just outside it. Under new ownership, it has prospered well, and seems to be renovating. They give truckers the comfort and quality care, that they deserve. So come on down to the General Store and see how things are done, with excellent service at affordable prices! They have grocery items, cooler items, bags of ice , 8lbs, Spray-away glass cleaner, ammonia free and no streak, and plenty of other cooler items and stuff to see! When you shop here, you support small, quality business. the owners really take the time to treat customers and employees with care! Family-owned and operated

We visited the Elmer Country Store.    Angel, one of the owners, was VERY friendly and proficient at running the store!    Rick, one of the cooks did a GREAT job serving us some FRESH fried okra, a huge fresh salad and some HOMEMADE cookies!    James, the other owner and Angel's husband, loves people and is very funny!     I highly recommend anyone doing business with this store!
