Stay away if you do not you will make an appointment they will cancel it 3 days prior and they randomly pick another day without informing you. If you do not show up they will charge you for that and fake the bill and if you do not pay they will sell it to collection agency they will not send you though.

The worst in patient care I have ever received. Nurses and doctors were never available. I had to ask to have my vitals taken when I felt a fever coming on. I changed my own sheets after the blood dropped from the IV after asking multiple times. I finally asked where the sheets were bc I was going to do it myself and she handed me the sheet!!!

Maybe would be better if instead of focusing on a fancy new building they spent time explaining to their staff the definitions of those big words in the mission statement like "respect" and "integrity." Had a doctor walk out and shut the door on me while I was in the middle of a sentence. Treated me like a liar and missed the ruptured ovarian cyst (how can you miss that with the scan in front of you?!) More recently had a different doctor try to prescribe me something over the phone, telling me not to come in for a scheduled appointment to discuss it - ironically after a recent appointment specifically to discuss medications in which the one in question was not talked about. Make sure too, that you expect to be double billed - I still have an appointment from months ago showing as unpaid after I had to have my insurance call over! The hospital itself is even worse. Have fun spending days on the phone with the records dept to not get them

I have been a patient at the Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health for 17 years, my children have been patients there for 14 and 3 years. There were times when I struggled and had to use Medicaid as opposed to private insurance and I was treated just as well no matter which insurance I was using. Dr. MacDuff has been my OB/GYN since I for 17 years and I have never had a negative experience with him. The office has you meet with all 5 OBGYN's so that you are familiar with whomever may be on call to deliver your child the day you go in labor. I think that is awesome. I do agree with the previous review by someone else that Dr. Kim is not the most personable person, and is the least personable of the five however, I recall her being thorough and engaged at my appointment. My son's pediatrician, who is located in the same office as my gyne, is the most awesome pediatrician ever! Dr. Senese has a way with kids that some doctors don't have. My son is autistic and even before we had a diagnosis for him, Dr. Senese went out of her way to ensure that he was comfortable with her and took her time no matter how long it was to work with him. She encourages us to ask questions and we never feel rushed. The same goes for my primary care physician Dr. Vukomanovich. She is always engaged and thorough and she knows who I am when I see her. She knows me as a person and not just as a patient (paycheck). I would encourage the previous person who is considering finding a new practice, to give it a chance to work for her. Sometimes when we move from different states and have to work within a new system that is unfamiliar, it can seem overwhelming and out of control but, it you give it a chance I can assure that you will not be disappointed!
