Campground is nice enough, a little dusty, and the outhouses smell a bit, but it's not bad for a primitive campground. However, we cut our visit short when we had homeless people coming up to our RV asking to use our electricity, and noticed what I would assume a drug dealer in and out of the park all day and all night (driving all around and behind our camper). It's not bad during normal season, but don't go if you're planning off season camping, unless you're ok with drug dealers, traffic, and homeless.

Ranger should make more than the expected am drive through the park.

Our go to family campground. We love the simple rustic forest. Swimming area is great for the kids. We've never had an issue with loud party people. Bring large pieces of wood for your fires and bug spray! Great lake to kayak too.

Love it. Only thing better would be electricity, and showers.

Not too bad, just bring bug spray! No electricity so don't be surprised. It is rustic but does have fire ring and toilets. Was still a great time! Fishing is. Basically impossible unless you have a raft or boat maybe even kayak.
