We were experiencing serendipity to get to this place being pastry lover. We were in the area and attracted to buy pastries from Carl Marletti because of the long queue. My favourite is the Belle-Helene tart. OMG! It might be the best pastry I have tried in my life. Such a complexity of flavours: the chocolate almond cream and poached pear create amazingly tasty contrast in fruity and sweet tastes. We tried the Feather that was also great and the caramel eclair. They didn't had everything because it was December 31st. But it worth going back to Paris to enjoy these amazing original pastries. I will get huge box of pastries next time! If you are visiting Paris definitely worth going here. Thank you for providing such a great pleasure!
They all look pretty, but too sweet in my opinion. Me and my friend shared 3 cakes but we couldn’t finish all of them. The famous lemon tart tastes like key lime pie in Miami, they are all delicious I meant, but was expecting more different flavors here.
Some classic French cakes that bring you the joy of sweetness and richness. Each piece is like an art. We particularly like the Mille-feuille which does the magic, a beautiful combination of layers of puff pastry and custard cream. When crunching the flaky and crispy layers filled with the custard like filing that give you that contrast in texture and taste, the savour is satisfying, the richness of the cream highlights the piece. I would like it even more if it could be slightly less sweet.
Popped in for some patisseries to celebrate a birthday. So many to pick from its almost overwhelming! All of them were absolutely incredible, wish I could have tried more!
My experience was wonderful. I had three pastries. The one shown is my favourite. The texture of shortcrust pastries is nice, it is not soggy. The cream on top tasted great, which meant it was freshly made. The acidity from Pomegranate mix well with the mild sweetness of the cream on top... I also ate the Canelé picture not shown, the Canelé was already inside my mouth before I had the chance to take photo of it. Crispiness in the outside, soft in the inside. Reminds me of fried milk, but Canelé taste better. I am guessing the crispiness comes from Beewax. but I could be wrong. Try the Canelé.
Wait. Is that Marletti himself at the cash register? What a pleasure! To get to meet the man responsible for the best thing I’ve had to eat in Paris. The only thing better than the way they look is the experience of eating them. I had Lily of the Valley and the Carioca. The entire staff is friendly and quick. Don’t miss out on this place.
It was hard too choose out of this enormous selection, but it’s definitely great ! It was a slightly too sweet to me, but I will be definitely will return to taste some more. Recommend
Unique and delicious French pastries... Pleasing to see and eat. Must try in Paris.... Friendly staffs and neat service. Better be early to the store. Later in the evenings, pastries are almost sold out

I don't think it's worth going out of your way to buy dessert here. It's just in the average of any bakery in Paris. Their dessert was good but not particularly amazing, you can just buy similar dessert from any bakery nearby you in Paris.
