Story

GFTFCU, newly renamed as "Embark Credit Union" has been serving members for 79 years- the first credit union established in Great Falls. If you live or work in Cascade, Choteau, Judith Basin, Pondera or Teton counties please consider us for your lending and deposit needs.

These guys are fantastic. Great communication, prompt service, and excellent care. My only complaint is that web services are a bit behind the times. Right now my only option to pay loans (since I reside in another state) is by mailing it or check by phone. It would be nice to be able to pay from another bank or even debit card. Other then that, love this place.

I have worked with Kirby Cagle for about 8 months, which has been a great experience. She is always willing to get my needs taken care of and is very prompt and efficient in doing so. Even when she has had to tell me no on a line of credit request, she is caring and very good at explaining what the circumstances are and why the request may not be able to be filled. There are several other staff members who have recently assisted me in opening a business account in a timely manner. I would not bank anywhere, and strongly recommend Embark to everyone I know. A very friendly, caring and helpful staff at all times. Thank you Embark!

I couldn't be happier with the customer service I've received from Embark! I have a very demanding job with hours that span all of Embark's business hours, but needed to contact them about my automatic payments for my credit card account. I sent a letter with a payment asking if they could contact me by email so I could communicate with them outside of business hours. Not only did they quickly figure out what the problem was with my automatic payments, they emailed me AND sent me a card with a gift card in it for my time! This was one of the best customer experiences I've ever had in banking, and I am so happy to know that they have a wonderful crew ready to help out if I need it! I know they're working on the website for smoother/easier email communications as well. I'm a customer for life!

I would give a 0 Star review if I could. Ever since Embark Took over The Great Falls Teachers Credit Union, I've have had nothing but problems. They set up an automatic payment on my car loan, and I had an issue with it at least once a year,. The worst was when the almost sent the loan to collections because they didn't transfer money to to and from the right place. Good riddance though, I recently paid off the vehicle and closed my accounts. Stay away from this terrible establishment!

It is a great credit union, and a great place to get a mortgage they make it a real nice experience and get you a home fast too, I'm glad I do my banking there. Yes, I recommend Embark Credit Union to my friends and people I meet.
