From my first contact, I have been very happy with Embassy. The maintenance team immediately helped us as we moved my sis in, the facility is always very clean, and the staff has been very helpful. Really thankful to have found a safe place for my sister.
I will say there are some staff that are valued but the rest is well not the greatest. They have their favorites that they will baby. I was an agency worker here and I was here twice but both times they were rough. They will over staff one shift and screw the next shift. Most of the time we had to work out of compliance. 2 aides for the whole building. I’ve been in that situation. They will overwork you if you. Overtime is nice, but they will work you 2 weeks at a time. They don’t seem to take others feelings into much consideration. The DON is good the administration is fair, but it’s never looked from the aides perspective we could be getting ran into the ground. Other aides there some are we good some are lousy but if you have an issue it doesn’t get addressed properly they are one sided they don’t even make room to compromise to hear both stories. There are aides that I know that never got paid out their full bonus that was stated they would get. So shorting people money and overworked and poor organization is this a place you really want to work at? They barely pass state in some places but get tagged like crazy nothing is ever really resolved they can’t keep nurses or aides. Think twice I’m only writing this review based off my last experience and the people deserve to know.
I just now read some of the lower rated reviews; wish I would of before accepting employment there. One of the reviews was from 4 years ago even & the conditions are the same, if not worse. I worked there for a very less than a month recently before removing myself. As a nurse of 8 years, I've ever seen anything like it. I will continue to devote myself to those committed to the welfare of my care & that is why I’m leaving this rating so families know the lack of quality of care.
My father went to Embassy for his final days. Although he was only there for five days he was treated exceptionally well. His last days were very peaceful and comfortable. I would not hesitate a moment recommending this place to family. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Nursing assistants were rough and non attentive...Nurses would sign off meds and not give them. My mom was forgotten about and not taken to meals...Wouldn't put my dog in there!! Could not get my mom out of there fast enough!
Admin is mean and unprofessional
