Stayed here a few times this past year because our daughter had a wedding nearby on August 12. The Emerson is where we had our barbecue rehearsal dinner, the breakfast buffet and where we had our guests stay. Thanks to Marcie Smith the event coordinator, everything was wonderful!! Everyone raved about the place. It is such a beautiful location. The rooms are great and the food at both events was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend staying at the Emerson!

Nestled in the valley surrounded by trees and a stream running in its backyard, this property is large and well equipped. Rooms are spacious and the property is well maintained with friendly staff. You need a car to get around the neighborhood which is quite quaint. Don't forget to see the largest kaleidoscope in the world!!! Great spa but it gets busy easily during the high season.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Emerson.  My husband and I got married there and all of our guests loved the rooms, scenery and the staff.  We had such a wonderful experience with them as our wedding venue.  Marci is the wedding coordinator and she is a dream to work with.  Anything we wanted to do was a yes and Marci and her staff helped with everything and put up with all my crazy decorations and emails.  Greg who runs the Woodnotes grill has a flower farm and supplied amazing wildflowers for our big day.  Sara in the spa did a great job with my hair.  Everything was great and the Emerson makes it so easy because they have so much in house.

Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married and I would highly recommend the Emerson for a wedding or a romantic weekend away.

Also - the hot tubs, sauna and steam room is amazing.

Beautiful rooms, Gorgeous scenery, tons to do or just sit back and take a break from the fast world. Staff in every part of the Emerson will make you feel catered to and be right there the second you need them. The Emerson is a family is family owned and managed. The staff are Al from within the area. So, if you are a tourist on a just a mini get away, want to take the ladies out to the spa, enjoy a meal prepared and cooked for chefs that all are 5 stars this is where you want to be. The Emerson also has many extras other than just a resort. Visit then in Route 28 and see the world's largest kaladoscope whether it's just you or the kids! The shops have everything from bike rentals, clothing shops, a spa, restaurant, amazing house keeping and much much more. I MUST Give a 5 star rating. There's many different packages to choose from. Among just a regular resort, they have made extra packages including Baby Moon's, Grand hall, there's also a heated pool outdoor all season. Shops, restaurant, and store with fresh cooked food sent direct from restaurant to store from the same famous amazing cooks! All reasonably priced. Please try them out. Next door is a train ride with all different types of themes and things that are so beautiful you'll never find wandering around anywhere else.

Beautiful campus to walk around on with nice resturants and shops to check out.  Went their for the spa for a couples massage and it was great.  Maseeuses were great and the rest of the staff was very kind.
